The evening sun is smiling down across the earth
and nature quietly rests in Holy peace.

Only the brook’s waves trickle slowly
through fields and forests it winds forth

No evening brings pause in its place,
no bells chime it to calm and peace

So my heart yearns in its love,
until I one day sleep in eternal peace.
